Beyond these, our expertise extends to the technical side of real estate management. We balance our roles as innovators and developers with practical experience. PAUL emerged from a sanitary company already focused on automating drinking water systems at the end of the 1990s.
The energy-saving potential identified there led to the formation of PAUL in 2017. As a tech company, we’re dedicated to solving one of the most significant challenges of our time: reducing the high energy consumption and harmful CO₂ emissions of buildings while maintaining profitability.
Our vision
We aim to transforming the real estate market to achieve CO₂ neutrality well before 2045.
PAUL is a member of the German Property Federation (ZIA – Zentraler Immobilienausschuss) and the central association of the German Housing Industry (GdW – Die Wohnungswirtschaft Deutschland).
As a company with the mission to reduce CO₂ emissions in existing buildings, we joined DENEFF, the strong voice of energy efficiency in Germany.
PAUL is also a member of the Association of North German Housing Companies (VNW), part of the Rhine-Neckar Real Estate Network (Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region) and a supporting member of DigiWoh, the housing industry’s digitalization competence center. As a member of the German Professional Association for Air and Water Hygiene (DFLW), we also ensure we stay abreast of the latest developments in water hygiene.
Our mission
As an energy innovator, we create cutting-edge technologies and solutions, to reduce CO₂ emissions from properties while enhancing their value.
We serve a broad range of clients, including real estate investors, private and municipal housing associations, and companies with real estate portfolios, although that is not their core business.
Our solutions are effective for buildings with 20 residential units and scale up to portfolios with tens of thousands of residential units. They are versatile across all asset classes, including care properties, hotels, offices, residential, retail and even maritime applications like ships.
PAUL enhances the eco-friendliness of our client’s buildings and increases their value by improving their energy efficiency classes.
